Welcome

This blog is designed to share the artwork created by elementary school students in Japan with elementary school students in other countries.

The art featured in this post is from Seba Elementary School. Soga is located just outside of Shiojiri in Nagano prefecture. It has about 250 students. This art was created by students in the third grade. They used items such as wool, erasers, crumbled paper and elastics to create different textures. Then they arranged the items to make a self portrait by stamping the items in black paint.
